On April 19 – 20, 2013, Dr. Weingarden attended a two-day, hands-on course for Soft and Hard Tissue Laser Dentistry. The program was presented by Dr. Robert Convissar, a pioneer in the field of laser dentistry, with over two decades of experience with lasers. Dr.Convissar was one of the first to incorporate lasers into the general dental practice. Lasers can be used in non-surgical, surgical and regenerative periodontal therapy.
